Curved Sash WindowCurved Sash Window

For this project, the original sash window was not damaged, however the customer required a double-glazed version of the original single-glazed window. The window had traditional Victorian thin glazing bars, and a like for like replacement was required to keep in line with listed building regulations. As you can see from the before and after pictures, the replacement window looks exactly the same as the original window but with the benefit of double glazed glass, heat loss at the property was reduced.

Church DoorsWooden Church Doors

We were required to restore large wooden church doors, which were hundreds of years old. Due to the age of the wood, any new wood would not match the colour of the existing wood. We therefore went out and bought a traditional aged chest of drawers, which was as near a match for the colour of the wood as we could find. We kept all the sound wood of the original doors where possible and for the rest we used the wood from the chest of drawers. We restored the doors back to their original magnificence and refitted them.

GatesWooden Gates

Here are traditional frame-ledge and braced gates fitted onto hook and band hinges. The gates were produced out of Vac vac treated timber in our factory, and fitted as required.
